By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of use and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Cítame provides a bilingual (English/Spanish) directory of local businesses engineered to be discoverable by people and AI assistants, plus optional tools for business owners — including free AI-visibility snapshots, paid visibility monitoring (Monitor / Grow), listing editing, reviews, syndication helpers, support messaging, and an optional website snippet for schema and AI-referral analytics.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Free features may be rate-limited, cached, or quota-capped and are not a substitute for paid monitoring. Availability of third-party AI engines and payment processors can affect what we can deliver.

You must provide accurate information when you register. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an owner account. Some features (including running a free AI snapshot for a listing) require you to be signed in.

Cítame is operated by CTRL ALT DEFEAT LLC. Unclaimed listings may be compiled by the operator and are not verified public records. Claiming a listing asserts that you are authorized to manage that business and replaces that draft with your own information. You agree to complete verification when requested and to keep NAP, hours, services, media, and other profile content accurate.

You grant Cítame a non-exclusive license to host, display, translate (EN/ES as applicable), syndicate (when you enable syndication), format, and use your listing content for directory display and AI-citation / visibility purposes (including sending prompts derived from your public profile to third-party AI providers as described in §7). You retain ownership of your content.

We may reject, edit, unpublish, or remove listings that are misleading, infringing, illegal, or otherwise harmful to users or the integrity of the directory. Uploaded media must be content you have rights to use.

Paid plans (Monitor and Grow) are billed through our payment processor under the prices and terms shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until canceled via the billing portal or as otherwise provided. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

Plan entitlements (for example full visibility scans, syndication tools, or website integration) are enforced server-side. Failed payment, cancellation, or downgrade may immediately reduce access to paid features.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, spam, or overload the Service, or bypass rate limits, scan locks, or quotas
• Abuse AI-visibility or snapshot features to exhaust third-party API credits
• Misrepresent ownership of a business or submit false NAP or review data
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content (including media)
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
• Use the Service to build a competing directory by wholesale copying our data

Free AI-visibility snapshots and paid visibility reports estimate how assistants may mention, cite, or describe a business. We may send engineered prompts (derived from category, city, business name, and related public profile fields) to third-party AI services that query assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Mode / Overviews.

We store probe records (prompt text, answers, mention/citation signals, competitors named, and related metrics) so you can review what was asked and how assistants responded. Results are informational, may be incomplete or incorrect, and do not guarantee ranking, citations, leads, or revenue. Assistant behavior changes frequently and is outside our control.

Live probes may be cached, concurrency-limited, and subject to daily budgets to prevent abuse and control cost. Non-owners who run a snapshot may receive a limited or deterministic preview that does not consume live probe credits.

If your plan includes website integration and you install our snippet or related tools, you authorize us to receive configured analytics events (such as referrer host and landing path) and to help surface schema / “Listed on Cítame” markup on your site as you enable those options. You are responsible for installing and removing the snippet on sites you control.

The Service, including software, design, trademarks, and curated directory structure, is owned by Cítame or its licensors. Except for your listing content, you may not copy or redistribute the Service without permission.

We aim to make the Service usable with assistive technologies. Our current accessibility evaluation and known limitations are described in our Accessibility statement, which may be updated as we re-test.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT AI VISIBILITY RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CÍTAME AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID).

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or risk to the Service or other users. Provisions that by nature should survive (including licenses already granted for published directory display, disclaimers, and limitations) will survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply. Courts in California will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory protections.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
